A marriage, a team or an organization are beautiful entities when selfless people are involved.
In Philippians, chapter 2, Paul describes the beauty of selfless people working together to experience true joy…”be like-minded, love one another, be in one spirit and purpose.”
When we look beyond ourselves, pray and desire that our spouses, teammates or co-workers prosper and succeed, then we will have joy.
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”
(Philippians 2:3-4)
