Mound Visits, 10/6/20

Most of the people I follow on social media are baseball coaches. There’s a lot of “knowledge” thrown around about techniques, culture and analytics. That’s all well and good, but what coaches desperately need is wisdom…every day. Wisdom needs to be within you at every meeting, practice and one on one conferences with players. Ask God for wisdom…often (James 1:5).

“When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.” Proverbs 11:2

If you are too “puffed up” with knowledge, you will never be humble enough to gain wisdom.
