Mound Visits, 10/15/18

Sometimes, in the morning, I ask God to help me not to miss an opportunity that He may place before me during the day. I ask Him to help me to be a good listener
(I talk a lot…my ears work better when my lips aren’t moving!). Be on the look out for the subtle ways God may want to bless you or help you to be a blessing to others.

“…Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.”
(1 Kings 19:11-12)

Elijah heard God in the gentle whisper. I trust that we will hear Him, also. He wants us to be His feet and His hands today.
