Servant Leadership.
Jesus was the perfect example of this effective dynamic. He knew that His time had come…
“So He got up from the meal, took off His outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around His waist. After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash His disciples feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around Him.”
(John 13:4,5)
He wants us to be servant-leaders in order to lead effectively and so that we will be blessed.
After washing the disciples feet, Jesus said, “Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.”
(John 13:17).
Jesus knows what our world needs more of:
1. We need more servant leaders
2. We need to love those we lead/serve
3. We need leaders who serve with humility
