Mound Visits, 10/4/17

It’s very hard to grow and improve if we don’t recognize our need for improvement. Not many pastors or Christian authors want to talk about sin in fear they will be viewed as narrow and self righteous. Repentance and growth only come from conviction of sin. Christ wants to forgive us and place us on a path of growth and improvement. I know, for sure, I need this in my life.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and Just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
(1 John 1:9)

Only by recognizing our own weaknesses can we discover God’s strength.
