Mound Visits, 11/1/17

I have a young friend who recently finished seminary. I love this young man, but I may unfollow him on Twitter. The young man is brilliant, but his goal seems to be to prove that most people are wrong and his role in life is to correct them in matters of faith…all in a very condescending way. It’s painful for me to read his tweets and then imagine how “turned off” seekers of truth are with his posts. I want him to grasp what Paul said in Romans 14:1…“Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgement on disputable matters.”
It’s not our knowledge (although knowledge is a good thing) but it’s the love of Christ and our lives changed for Him that people are attracted to.
