Mound Visits, 11/13/17

Coaches want athletes who have a great heart. God wants His children to have a great heart. Because it’s so important, we must “guard” our hearts.

“Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.” (Proverbs 4:23)

Jesus had this, among many other things, to say about the heart:
“The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.”
(Luke 6:45)
