Mound Visits, 11/3/18
When I have trouble in my life or if there is trouble in the lives of those I love, my first instinct is to work as hard as I can to fix it. In reality, as followers of Christ, we should trust Him and bring our troubles to Him first. That doesn’t mean we should fold our hands, but we should seek wisdom from God, ask Him to intervene and follow His lead. And, for those things that appear too big to fix…Jesus turned water in to wine, helped the lame walk, the blind to see, walked on the water. And, through His death and resurrection expressed miraculous love for each of us, nailing what separates us from God, our sin, to the cross with Him. He can take heartbreak and even death and replace it with peace and joy. If He loves us that much, and He does, we should go to Him first, right!?!
