Mound Visits, 1/16/17

Recently, a coach posted something on Twitter that caught my attention. It was all of the positive attributes coaches want from players. It was a long list such as “give your best effort, be a great teammate, respect coaches and teammates, always be on time, have a positive attitude, etc.” I shouldn’t have, but I responded, “that’s exactly what players expect from coaches.” Leaders, we are called to a higher standard. I confess, I haven’t always lived up to that standard…I am a work in progress and I’m in need of a Master Coach to help me. And He does.
“…first take the plank out of your own eye, then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye” (Matthew 7:5).
