”But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,“
1 Peter 3:15
What a verse! This is a challenge to me because Peter puts that very difficult word in the second sentence,
ALWAYS. We are human and we fall short, but this is the gold standard on how to be a follower of Christ Jesus.
- Revere Christ
- Be prepared to give an answer to the question, “What is the reason for your hope?”
- Do this with GENTLENESS and RESPECT.
If every follower of Christ would claim this verse as a personal mission statement we could make this world a much better place to live!
