Mound Visits, 12/2/21

I complain less and less after each trip to the Dominican Republic or after visiting with the forgotten and unemployed in Appalachia. I drift back into negativity at times (usually after watching the “news”). The question I must ask myself is this, “do I want to leave a legacy of negativity or of service?”

“Lord, help me to serve more and complain less. Fill me with a spirit of gratitude and grace. Help me to see those you place in front of me who need a word of encouragement or a hand up.”
