Scottish born author Robert Lewis Stevenson is best known for works such as Treasure Island and The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. But none of his legendary work is more meaningful than a prayer he once penned:

“Loving God, help us remember the birth of Jesus, that we may share in the song of the angels, the gladness of the shepherds, and the worship of the wise men.”
(Robert Louis Stevenson)

“After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.””
(Matthew 2:1-2)
