“If” can be a powerful two letter word, especially when Jesus uses it.
”I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.“
(John 15:5)
So my prayer should be, “Jesus, you are the vine and I am a branch. Give me the wisdom to remain in You, knowing that You will remain in me. Thank you in advance for helping me to bear fruit by remaining in You. Without You, I can do nothing.”
