Mound Visits, 12/28/22

During our Christmas Eve service our pastor reminded us why God spoke to the shepherds about the birth of Jesus. He could have chosen any group, but He chose the lowly shepherds. Why? It’s because God usually chooses those who are silent. We all need to find quietness in each day so that we may hear that still, small voice.

“In the rush and noise of life, as you have intervals, step home within yourselves and be still. Wait upon God, and feel His good presence; this will carry you evenly through your day’s business.”  (William Penn)

“Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.”
(Psalms 62:5)
