Discouragement comes to all of us at one time or the other. It causes us to feel left out, beaten down, hopeless or even unwanted. But listen to what Isaiah said about the bruised and the burned out:

“A bruised reed He will not break, and a faintly burning wick He will not quench.” (Isaiah 42:3)

“If you are going through a time of discouragement, there is a time of great personal growth ahead.”-Oswald Chambers
