Former Major League Pitcher, Paul Byrd, shared this Jim Leyland quote with me last night:
“If you mislead a player you lose them forever. If you tell them the truth, you lose them for 24 hours.”
I thought that was a great quote, but I like Paul’s better: “The only One who never misleads anyone is Jesus.” Truth!
