Mound Visits, 2/17/24
NCAA Division l baseball teams play a 56 game schedule starting in the middle of February and ending in the middle of May. There are many long bus trips, bad calls, slumps, injuries and hotel rooms away from family. Without perseverance and the ability to bounce back quickly after a tough loss, it can be a grueling year. You must be passionate about the game or the game itself will beat you down.
Doesn’t that parallel life. It’s not all wins, great health, sunny, pay raises and 72 degrees with sunshine. There are stunning bumps in the road for everyone. Don’t let the bumps rob you of your passion for this life and our preparation for the next. Bounce back and then help someone else up when they fall. Share the victories and the losses with the One who loves you.
