Mound Visits, 2/24/22

Through the years I’ve always tried to keep things that have sentimental value to me…the glove I used in Little League, a few of my father’s tools, my mother’s guilts, my wife’s notes to me that I would find in my suitcase on a road trip and notes and drawings my sons crafted for me when they were little. These are important things to me. They represent love, work and play. All very real blessings here on earth. When I read the quote below from C.S. Lewis I thought, ‘heaven will be a very special place.’

“There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.”
(C.S. Lewis)

“For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”
(1 Corinthians 13:12)
