Mound Visits, 2/26/24
Many years ago I learned from trial and error that baseball is a great game but a terrible God. In order to live in peace, we must adhere to what Paul said in his letter to the Colossians: ”Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.“
(Colossians 3:15)
The key word in Paul’s admonition is “let.” We fill our hearts with things that crowd out peace. Then, we wonder why there’s chaos and fatigue in our hearts. Take time, find a quiet place and “let” the peace of Christ rule in your heart through prayer and His Word.
