Mound Visits, 2/8/22

Jesus is patient with those who doubt. He loves an honest heart, so we should talk to Him about our doubts and fears. I think of “Doubting” Thomas, King David and even John the Baptist before his execution. They all had moments of doubt and confessed them to God.

“Christ never failed to distinguish between doubt and unbelief. Doubt is can’t believe. Unbelief is won’t believe. Doubt is honesty. Unbelief is obstinacy. Doubt is looking for light. Unbelief is content with darkness.” (Henry Drummond)

“Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!””
(Mark 9:24)
