Mound Visits, 3/18/24
A few years ago, one of my former players, Steve Roberts , rode his bicycle cross country (from San Diego to Jekyll Island, GA). He carried the usual things (tent, sleeping bag, map, clothes, cell phone, etc) but the most valuable resources were the cyclist he met who were riding East to West. The best question he asked each one was “what do I need to know about the road ahead”. Ever since that adventure, Steve’s New Year’s prayer/resolution has been “To put myself in front of the people who have been where I wanted to go”.
