One of the first life lessons I remember my father teaching me was from Proverbs. I can almost hear him say it, “son, if you want friends you must show yourself to be friendly.”
The way we treat others has a strong influence on the way people perceive us. And, it’s a reflection of our character.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.”
(Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
