Living most of my life competing for the next win, I would often overlook the joy that came with simply knowing the young men on my teams. Very seldom did I ever say, “Lord, I am so thankful that I get to spend time in the bullpen with Jim. Help me to communicate well. We really need to develop his breaking ball.”

Whatever you do today, enjoy the process and be thankful. It will lead to the next excellent thing God has in store for you.

”And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.“
