Mound Visits, 3/16/17

I’ve always been fascinated with streams, creeks, rivers and especially springs. When I was young, my father cleaned out an old stone well my grandfather had dug many years before. When we reached the bottom of the well, about 8′ down, a very large stream of fresh clean water (an underground spring) began flowing in to the well. It had been blocked by rock, debris and mud.

When we recognize that we have sin and rebellion in our hearts and place our faith in Christ, turn to Him and ask for forgiveness, He cleans us from the inside out and completely removes the debris and sin.

Jesus said, “whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him” (John 7:38)
