Mound Visits, 4/10/23

My friend Kevin Wilson often says, “Hitting a baseball is simple. It’s just not easy.” Sometimes following Jesus is simple. It’s just not easy. We have an enemy, Satan. The enemy throws roadblocks into our path to try to prevent us from following Jesus closely. The roadblocks he uses are doubts, fears and all sorts of temptations. Jesus called Satan a thief because he robs us of joy and peace.

Jesus said:

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
(John 10:10)

Choose life that gives joy and peace, and follow the One who extends grace when we stumble and even when we fall.
