Mound Visits, 4/14/23

We never drift so far away that God’s love can’t reach us. In the middle of the Pacific alone? God is with you. In the depths of the deepest cave alone? God is with you. Distant because of rebellion and sin? Turn to Him. He will be running toward you.

“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”
(Ephesians 2:13)

“God, Who is everywhere, never leaves us. Yet He seems sometimes to be present, sometimes to be absent. If we do not know Him well, we do not realize that He may be more present to us when He is absent than when He is present.”
