Mound Visits, 4/2/18

My favorite passage in the Bible is found in the 5th chapter of Luke. It’s about a group of men who carry their paralytic friend on a mat to a house where Jesus is teaching and healing. The verse that always “sticks out” for me is 5:20: “When Jesus saw THEIR FAITH, He said, ‘Friend, your sins are forgiven.’” (emphasis mine)

Two questions:

Is my faith strong enough to carry someone to Jesus?

What’s preventing my faith to be as strong as the faith of these “mat carriers?”

“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith…”
(Hebrews 12:2)
