If we want to represent Christ, we should perform whatever task we have scheduled today with excellence. Whether you are a laborer, executive, educator, coach or and athlete, pursue excellence. Unless our best effort is given in the workplace, field or court, no matter how much scripture we quote to people, it will go unheard and unheeded. Paul’s challenge to us in Colossians 3:23 should be well executed by all who follow Christ: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men…”
