Mound Visits, 4/28/18
If it is wisdom that you need, there are many wise men and great books that can help. If it is encouragement you need, there are people with that gift who can encourage you. But, if you believe sin is preventing you from approaching God, there is only One who can help, God’s son, Jesus Christ. He is our advocate, redeemer and savior. He’s the only One who took my sin and your sin on the cross with Him and then died so that we can be free from sin for eternity. He paid the penalty for our sin. No other man, except Jesus, has said, “Keith, I will pay for your sins. I will die that you may live.”
Thomas asked, “how can we know the way? Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:5,6)
Luke wrote in Acts 4:12, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”
