Mound Visits, 4/9/19
What did King David know about courage? When he was a very young man he went toe to toe against the baddest dude alive, Goliath. He was faced with many other giants in his life; political rivals, a son who betrayed him and enemies from within and outside his kingdom. There is no doubt that David was a brave man. But his courage and strength came from the One he worshipped so beautifully. His courage came from his faith in God. He can be the source of our courage, too!
“As for God, His way is perfect; the Word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him.”
