Mound Visits, 5/30/23

I hear it every day from friends, family and on social media; “Our country is in a mess. We are so divided.”

We have brilliant minds from Yale, Harvard, M.I.T. and Stanford, so why are we struggling so? Why can’t these gifted people fix our problems? Could it be that we are looking for knowledge and wisdom in the wrong places?

Listen to what is said of Jesus in Colossians 2:3, “in (Him) are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

True wisdom lives inside of us and, according to Paul David Tripp, “Wisdom works to change your thoughts and redirect your desires.”

But, who among us is willing to change our thoughts and redirect our desires?
