Most Americans enjoy a long weekend, a baseball game, a home project or a cookout on Memorial Day. It would be a tragedy if we didn’t remember those who haven given their life for us.
“Those who have long enjoyed such privileges as we enjoy forget in time that men have died to win them.” — Franklin D. Roosevelt
May we never forget those who have died for our freedom.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
(John 15:13)
