Mound Visits, 5/4/23

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.”
(Colossians 4:2)

1.  The Creator of the universe wants to hear from us!
2.  Pray as you go to meetings, before practice, on your way home. Prayer is just talking and listening to God. It’s heart talk.
3.  Be watchful for opportunities to encourage someone, serve, give a smile to someone who may be having a difficult day. And, be watchful for the enemy. He wants to rob us of our joy, distract us with things that entice us but eventually bring guilt, pain and shame. Be alert! Be watchful!
4.  Be thankful! The more thankful we are the happier we will be. In our transitional prayers between meetings or while we are driving, be thankful for the gift of salvation and for the God who loves us. Be thankful for our families and our jobs and the many blessings God gives! Be thankful for a Savior who gives us strength when you are weak and helps us through trials!

Pray. Be Watchful. Be Thankful.
