Mound Visits, 5/7/19

I am thankful for grace! The fact that I’m writing this devotional is a result of God’s grace, forgiveness and mercy.

Rick Warren explains grace in this way: “Grace is when God gives you what you don’t deserve. Mercy is when God DOESN’T give you what you DO deserve. For all the ways you’ve sinned, failed, and made mistakes, you deserve punishment. Yet God pardons you and forgives you through Christ—that’s mercy.”

“…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:23-24)
