Mound Visits, 6/24/19

Try getting a president, or a king to hang out with you when you are going through serious trials in your life. If you are just an average person like me, they wouldn’t want to spend time with you even during the best of circumstances.

But God, the Creator, “the high and lofty One” says this through the prophet Isaiah, “I live in a high and holy place, but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.”

When we experience sadness or anxiety in our spirit, or even tragedies, God will not allow us to stay in those circumstances. He is with us and wants to revive our spirits and our hearts. This is good news!
