Recently, a young baseball coach was excited that he was selected to be a coach at a particular school. He said in his tweet after being hired, “I want to be a positive influence on the game.” My prayer for him is that he will be a positive influence on those who play the game. Loving the “game” is OK, but loving the players who play the game is eternal.
