A good friend of mine gave some advice to me several years ago that has served me well when I heed it. His advice was summed up in two words, “go slow.” Important decisions are best made with prayer, deliberation, consultations with wise and trusting friends and then more prayer. It takes more time but your decisions will be made with wisdom instead of hasty guesswork.

“The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.”
‭‭(Proverbs‬ ‭12:15‬)
