Mound Visits, 8/17/18

As a coach, I seemed to have a better relationship with the players I made an effort to communicate with. And, the ones who chose to communicate with me, I always had a meaningful relationship with them.

It’s no different than our relationship with our spouses, children…and God. The more time I spend in conversation with my wife, children and with God, the more complete I feel.

Prayer doesn’t need to be formal. It can be on your knees, in your chair, behind the steering wheel or in your bed. Sometimes, the hardest part is starting. Jesus gave us great advice here…He suggested that we simply start with “Our Father….”
(Matthew 6:9)
