Mound Visits, 8/2/17

It’s easy to feel beaten down by life’s circumstances and even feel like a “nobody.” It happens to all of us. While recently reading a devotional by Max Lucado, I was reminded that, as a believer, “when we gave Jesus our heart, He gave us His.” A partial list of what this means:
-You are a new creation
(2 Cor. 5:17)
-You are God’s child
(John 1:2)
-Christ’s friend
(John 15:15)
-We are forgiven of ALL sins
(Col. 1:14)
-We are complete in Christ
(Col. 2:10)
-We are free from condemnation
(Romans 8:1-2)
-We are God’s co-worker
(2 Cor. 6:1)
-We are adopted in to God’s family
(Eph. 2:5)
-We cannot be separated from God’s love
(Romans 8:35)

We are a “somebody!” A child of God, loved by God.
