Mound Visits, 8/24/19

If I had my playing career to do over, I would:
1. Work harder during the off-season
2. Instead of waisting my time during hundreds of lengthy bus rides, I would keep a journal, read more books and study the Bible
3. I would throw more first pitch strikes
4. I would spend more time developing command of my slider and change up
5. I would not have thrown at that one hitter in Duluth who was standing too close to the plate while I was throwing my preliminary warm up pitches (well, maybe I would have sent a message, but not so close to his head!)

Regrets. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has them. I can’t change yesterday, but I can do better today!

“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise, but as wise, making the most of every opportunity.”
(Ephesians 5:15-16)
