Mound Visits, 9/11/17
Life’s journey, and even our “faith journey,” is often filled with steep hills to climb, low valleys, pot holes, detours and other challenges to discourage us. Even so, God often gives us beautiful vistas along the way. For people of faith, the final destination will be well worth the twists and turns along the way. Hopefully, I can grow along the journey and echo what Paul said in Philippians 1:6: “being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” My prayer today is that each one of us will grow in our faith and, like Paul, be confident that God will be with us every step of the journey. “Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.”
