Mound Visits, 9/1/16
It’s easy for me to trust God while “looking in the rear view mirror” of my life. He is faithful. But when I’m faced with a devastating circumstance or if I’m in a dark place, it takes much more faith and strength. It’s then I must intentionally decide to trust Him, even if I’m in despair. We must not lose hope, but wait for Him to rescue us during dark times. Isaiah said it best: “but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on the wings of eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:31). If you feel too burdened to walk, trust and wait…you will soon be soaring like an eagle! God does not break his promises.
