When David was preparing to take on the giant Goliath in a one on one battle, everyone around him was talking about Goliath’s size, his defiant attitude and their fear of him. David, a teenager at this time, only talked about God. All of us, at one time or another, has a “Goliath” in our life. But remember, the bigger our God, the smaller our Goliath. God is bigger than any battle you face and He promised to always be with us.
David said to the giant, Goliath, “All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands.” (1 Samuel 17:47)
