Mound Visits, 9/22/18

A while back, I heard a young man arrogantly mocking another man because of his advanced years. Since I now get senior discounts at several prestigious fast food establishments, I was stung by his remarks. Hopefully, I wasn’t similarly arrogant when I thought of the following passage of scripture:

“Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, ‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.'” (1 Peter 5:5)
