“Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path” (Psalm 119:105). God’s Word isn’t a spotlight that helps us to see the future or the end of our journey; it’s a lamp to help us take one step at a time.

My friend Harold Morris used to say, “You are who you’re with.” That is true. Hang with negative people, you become negative. Spend time with positive, “sharp” people, you become more productive. “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”(Proverbs 27:17)
